No. They do not rule the world. But I do think that the leaders of a few countires are controlled by aliens. But those leaders have not taken over the world.

I’d like to think if aliens are advanced enough to travel through space and reach us, they’d be a bit more civilized than we are. So, they don’t rule the world - they’re just watching and waiting for us to get our shit together before they consider contacting us openly.
