The Airbus female and the Boeing male.
Boeing and Airbus are the two main airline manufactures these days, with each rival getting its fair share of the market, with new and more innovative models, accommodating requests from customers, current travel requirements and also building on company success from the past. The rivalry is fierce, each trying to get ahead of the other, but I am not interested in this aspect, what I will talk about is my opinion of the two models.
This is my analogy, an Airbus is feminine, while Boeing is masculine. Airbus is basically European, which means moody, sensitive, delicate, and soft. Boeing on the other hand is a rough, tough, hardcore, fit for all, heavy duty machine, American excellence at its best.
Some might see the new super Airbus elephant and think its a big achievement, riding in a big blimp fit for 500 passengers. I see it as a big goat who is pregnant with 10 kids.

I prefer to ride the Boeing 777, which even though is masculine by nature in my head, when you treat it right, it turns into a nice chubby woman with lovely curves and the seat covers you with fluff.
The small types of Airbus might be more suitable for short distance than a Boeing, or maybe equal, because for a short distances size does not matter, but for the long haul, for hour after hour of flying, you need a tough plane, and Boeing is the one.

Sexist.
