The Legacy of the Mandate
Today while napping on Son of Kirk, under my blanket, I began to think of something Jazz said yesterday during Edo Pride, “What happened to the Mandate?” and I started to think and think and think.
The Mandate is still around, but it is not a unified mandate. I see us as the Beatles, I am George Harrison, Q is Paul McCartney, Nibaq is Ringo, Boghazi is John Lennon and Jazz is… ummm.. I just realized the Beatles were four people not five! Ok, let me start again, I see us as the Jackson five, however I will not say who is who, but I am not Michael, I am not Tito and I am not Jermaine, so I must be one of the other two and I am surely not Latoya! hmm Jazz and Janet, but thats another story.
We could be like Guns N Roses (or 3anz and Moses), Nibaq is Slash, I am Axel, Q is Izzy, Jazz is Duff and Boghazi is umm… Dammmit! which ex-member should he be? Why should I be Axel?? No, I do not like this part.
Anyways, think of us as a band who has decided to persue other interests, but can always unite for a good cause. Maybe if enough people want us together again, we can have a reunion tour? If you think we can fit a band, who would be who?
